2/17/2012: "Big Data" and the Future of Digital Information Management

ARTEC IT Solutions at CeBIT 2012

Karben, February 12, 2012 - ARTEC IT Solutions AG will present smart solutions that can help organizations master the challenges of managing and retaining constantly growing amounts of data in clever ways at this year's CeBIT (Hall 2, Stand A50). From March 6 to March 10, 2012, the manufacturer (http://www.artec-it.de) will present its latest solutions in Hanover, Germany.

The solutions will, among other things, place focus on the term "Big Data": The all-new VSTOR® product series, which ARTEC will unveil to the world at CeBIT, gives organizations a powerful tool to gain optimal control over their data.

The new VSTOR® eDiscovery and VSTOR® Recovery solutions cover the entire spectrum of digital information management, and go far beyond previously used, outdated concepts. All relevant information produced by an organization is available at all times. Data is available locally and globally, across multiple locations, and without requiring any sort of synchronization of databases or data files.

"Organizations should not only see their often huge amounts of data as a burden. Instead, they should recognize and exploit the potential that lies hidden within it," says Jerry J. Artishdad, Managing Director of ARTEC IT Solutions AG. "Our new VSTOR® solutions present a completely novel approach for centralized, integrated management of all information used by an organization. Only data that can be made available within a reasonable amount of time is useful data. This is exactly the approach we have taken with VSTOR®."

Visitors to ARTEC's exhibition area can also get information about the EMA® (Enterprise Managed Archive) archiving platform. EMA® provides legally compliant long-term storage of all business information.
