Usability at its finest - the new EMA® Outlook extension
Much more functional and refined than the well-known Outlook search, EMA presents results in seconds. This not only relieves stress, but also saves valuable working time.
To operate EMA, no training, no extensive briefing and no help from administrators is required. EMA simply explains itself.
The highlight: With the EMA Outlook extension, users can search not only in e-mails, but in all company data: Whether e-mails, imported files, recorded telephone calls as voice files or archived SAP documents: All company data from the EMA Live Archive is visible in Outlook.
Useful features such as folder synchronization ensure that the usual personal folder structures of the file server are automatically mapped in Outlook. This significantly improves usability when dealing with unstructured data.
Additional technical information
The new EMA Outlook extension is programmed in native code without web technologies and works in Outlook 2010 and later on Windows. It integrates perfectly into the Outlook GUI and supports the system-wide dark mode, for example. In addition, there has been the possibility for years to distribute EMA centrally to all users as a homepage folder (without DLLs) and to integrate it into Outlook. Both options will remain completely supported, with EMA you always have the choice.
The presentation differs slightly here. Of course, EMA is always available as a browser version independent of Outlook.
